Declan has been pretty interested in the whole potty business for a while now but we didn't want to deal with a newly potty trained kiddo on a 15 hour flight so we put off getting serious about it. As you know our first week here was pretty crazy and then we needed to get settled in and get into a routine at home.
Sunday night I noticed we were getting low in nappies ( yep that's what it says on the box), and I decided I didn't want to buy anymore! Monday we started and it was a bit rough after the first 3 trips and the novelty of it wore off. We kept on it and Friday Declan had only one accident and today NONE!!! Woot woot for potty trained in 5 days. We are so proud of him.
I am so thankful because from Monday to Thursday without leaving the house was making me a little crazy lol. The boys and I also apparently were desensitized from the craziness of the city because when we did finally go out to get groceries Cavan was so funny he said, "Oh my gosh it is too loud out here!".
